Help me please!! :'( i feel terrible?!?

Postby laureano97 » Tue Apr 10, 2012 2:01 am

today i had my final exam (english) and i had to sit in the front row... the question paper was easy but i had a doubt with the 7th question in the grammer part and thought of writing it later.. i took out my pencil and put a small dot near the question number (in case i forget later) and then.. the inviligilator shouted "DONT WRITE ANYTHING IN THE QUESTION PAPER, ITS A MALPRACTICE!! U WILL BE DEBARRED FROM THE COLLEGE FOR DOING THIS AND FACE CONSEQUENCES LATER"!! and i dint respond and i kept writing...i dint tell her sorry since i had to write a lot more answers....this is the scolding which i got from her for just putting a "DOT" near the question.. after the exams, my friends and other classmates thought i was cheating..when i dint do any form of malpractice :'(.. i feel terrible..was the invigilator rude or was i rude for not responding and ignoring her?? please help me... :'(

Wtf. I think that was a honest mistake you made. Because school don't like students to write anything on the test papers because they might need to use it again for different students. So maybe they thought you're trying to help other people cheat by did that. But I don't think you are. Don't feel bad. I would totally do the same thing likes you if I want to skip a question for now and go back to it later.

P.S. Don't stress yourself over this. It only bring negative energy to your life. Try to get over it. And remind yourself not to do it again.

Crikey, I'm really surprised that you got told off for that so badly... You weren't rude and the invigilator wasn't either - I guess for your exam board you're sitting, it's against the exam regulations to write on the question paper and the invigilator was only doing his/her job. Calmly explain to your friends what happened and that you had no desire to cheat what so ever. If your friends don't trust you then they don't sound like very good friends...

Don't worry yourself about it :)

P.S. If you speak at all during exams you can get banned from not only doing that exam but all of your exams, so you did the right thing not to respond

Can't you complain to the principal or something? This is fu****g ridiculous! You're going to be barred from college for putting a dot on a question sheet? This person should be fired!
