I'm studying my vocab.
The word Vilification.
The definition says: smear: slanderous defamation.
What does that mean? Lol.

Do you want the definition or just meaning of "vilification"?
It means speak or write about in an abusively disparaging way.
Come on, "vocab"!

It means to make something look bad. For example, graffitti would be a form of vilification since you would be ruining a wall.
