Hip shifted downward, medical malpractice?? help?!?

Postby larry » Wed May 16, 2012 4:03 am

I am workin with a chiropractor. He said my right hip is shift almost 2 inches downward, making my right leg longer than the other. I have dull but bad dull aching pain 24/7 at that joint in the lower back where my hip is. The nerves have been pinching for 6 years. I thought I was crazy for those last 5 years bc I had an MRI, X-rays, 2 emg's and a ct scan when it first impairing my ability to run. I was 15. My mother had the doctors suppress the truth for what reason totally beats me, maybe for emotional abuse (she always was cruel towards me). I'm considering suing those doctors for negligence bc now I have permenant nerve damage and it's ruined my life.. I had to be induced at 39 weeks with my son because I was in severe pain and couldn't walk.. I have scoliosis bad enough now i can't lay on my side without pain when I breathe in.. What Would you do? I found out that all this stuff was withheld from me a month ago when I had all my records transferred to my chiropractor and family doctor. I got emergency call from both when they got their copies.. I feel in my heart that justice needs to be served but I don't know if it's worth it

You need to talk to a lawyer. You will need to prove they did something wrong and the issue was not caused by how you grew.

if you had no operation performed on you, that resulted in your condition, then you have NOBODY to sue for malpractice.

there's no "justice to be served" if the medical problem is your own - and they don't have to tell you anything when you're 15 if your mother didn't want them to.

sue your mom

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I am not sure why your mom would "supress the truth". If that is the case. ........your Dr.'s knew what the problem was and your mom did nothing about it. It does NOT sound like you have a case. When you are a minor then your parent are the ones that make decisions for you.
