If you sign up for a Paypal account you can pay from there with a "virtual" debit card.    You can get a Visa debit card free from most banks if you have a checking account(or you can pay directly from your account, even if you don't have a debit card).   You can find infromation about paying with a money order here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?ie=UTF8&nodeId=518222   For more information on acceptable payment methods: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=513058

My nephew was able to use Visa gift cards when he did his shopping on line. You can pay cash at the store to put an amount on the cards and then use them like a credit/debit card.
