How do I start my multimedia business?

I want to write stories, illustrate them, create interactive online versions of them with my music playing throughout it. Just me, no one else will be working with me. I have no idea where to start, can anyone help me? I know I need some sort of business license, but I don't know what. I've also heard I need an agent, accountant, a lawyer, and all this is making my head hurt. Would I need to create my own record label to do my music? Where do I start? This is a nightmare. Help! Fast responses would be nice, but please don't make them stupid comments. :)

You don't need many of those things (agent, accountant, lawyer). Many people are self employed and just need to fill in a few government forms to start a business. This will vary from country to country, state to state. Check out your country/state's website. Good luck
