Trying to start a business!?

Postby patwin87 » Mon Jul 30, 2012 3:31 pm

Two friends and I want to start a small jet ski rental business in the next year or so. I'm sure filing an LLP is a best choice for us. We live in Texas by the way. Any legal advice "just to know" kinda thing before we start getting our feet wet into this business. I'm mostly trying to get legal advice such as what to open the company under, the fees yearly maintaining whatever we should file the business under, and other sound advice you think will help. We will eventually talk to a lawyer about this, but i would love to know beforehand what the best route is so we don't get screwed over! Thanks!

In Russia, usually every serious business begins with a bank robbery. Why Texas should not be so? :-)

It is a very good idea of you and your friends that you are going to start a new business. Now let us talk about the legal advice so if you are all planning to start a small business then I would recommend you that you contact to The Arthur Firm as the lawyers working over their are experienced and handling various cases for their clients like business law, civil law and criminal laws too.

Just as the previous comment, you have to consult a reputed corporate lawyer to get legal support. I usually consult with Siskinds Law firm ( http://www.siskinds.com/ ) of Canada. You should always be aware about the latest updates in corporate law of your country. It is necessary for the well run of your firm.
