sure, regulations are bad.... for profits!

regulations is just a big word for "rules". sure, there have been a few regulations that went a little too far, but 99% of them are needed to keep consumers and employees safe.

you have to be extremely gullible to not see the corporate propaganda behind the "regulations kill jobs" argument. maybe these right-wingers dont understand what the word regulations means or something.

think for yourself

Smart regulations are not only "not bad" but they can also create jobs.

In calif the EPA placed a regulation limiting irrigation to save a minnow. Hundreds of farmers were thrown out of work, food prices are going up. So was that reg good or bad?
In the pacific North west the government put a halt to the logging industry to save an owl, thousands on unemployment to save an owl we later found nested everywhere. Was that reg good or bad?
Regulations ought to be balanced against the needs of the area and the people, not inflicted because a minority who have no idea what is going on wants them.

you're wrong, because most regulations have loopholes in them for specific people or companies.
starting youur argument off w/ an ad hominem attack is the sign of a faulty argument....
do you realise that almost every unioin in th us has been exemtoed form the obamacare mandate?
wanna talk about fair and rules now?
the fact is that poeple like obama, soros and the clintons all say the rich should pay more taxes, but all of them pay la lower percnet than 'joe the plumber' making $250k. so when these people tell you about regulatikos being good, take it on faith that i'st only good for them...

No one says Regulations are bad. We say too many are bad. Have common sense, Regulations hurt production. Look at China with no regulations, they are the best economy. We need less regulations, we shouldn't get rid of them, we need to protect our people, but not have regulations to this extent.

Ok, you like regulations, well Obama has put hundreds of new regulations into effect, hampering the private sector, if regulations are so important in job creation, where are the jobs? What is needed is less regulation, more oversight.

Neocons will fall for just about anything that their talking head demigods spout. Regulations are there to protect the public from predators and from economic disasters - you know, like the one that Bush and his neocon cabal foisted on the country.

It's quite possible everything you do has some form of regulation attached to it, and you/we have to pay for it. Regulations take $1.75 trillion annually out of the economy.

You know that kid on the playground who you grew up with? The one who always said "my mom said running was bad! You guys shouldn't run!"? That type of person is a proponent of regulation. It's not just about profit.
