It is ironic that something dubbed as "the affordable health care act" actually made health care less affordable.

Sadly, people don't realize that their insurance only goes so far. The fact is we are all just one serious illness away from losing everything.

GM had to file bankruptcy after a hefty bailout and liberals call it a sweeping success.

Looks like she didn't find the right bootstraps.

I'm sure she may not get the irony.

Healthcare needs work.

Obamacare is not it.

Obamacare makes it FAR FAR worse.

Democrats in Congress refused to listen to suggestions from the GOP on what would actually make it better, and rammed Obamacare down our throats with not one single Republican vote.

It needs to be repealed before it bankrupts us even faster, and real, good fixes put in place.

Restore State Leadership and Flexibility

Mitt will begin by returning states to their proper place in charge of regulating local insurance markets and caring for the poor, uninsured, and chronically ill. States will have both the incentive and the flexibility to experiment, learn from one another, and craft the approaches best suited to their own citizens.

•Block grant Medicaid and other payments to states
•Limit federal standards and requirements on both private insurance and Medicaid coverage
•Ensure flexibility to help the uninsured, including public-private partnerships, exchanges, and subsidies
•Ensure flexibility to help the chronically ill, including high-risk pools, reinsurance, and risk adjustment
•Offer innovation grants to explore non-litigation alternatives to dispute resolution

Promote Free Markets and Fair Competition

Competition drives improvements in efficiency and effectiveness, offering consumers higher quality goods and services at lower cost. It can have the same effect in the health care system, if given the chance to work.

•Cap non-economic damages in medical malpractice lawsuits
•Empower individuals and small businesses to form purchasing pools
•Prevent discrimination against individuals with pre-existing conditions who maintain continuous coverage
•Facilitate IT interoperability

Empower Consumer Choice

For markets to work, consumers must have the information and the power to make decisions about their own care. Placing the patient at the center of the process will drive quality up and cost down while ensuring that services are designed to provide what Americans actually want.

•End tax discrimination against the individual purchase of insurance
•Allow consumers to purchase insurance across state lines
•Unshackle HSAs by allowing funds to be used for insurance premiums
•Promote "co-insurance" products
•Promote alternatives to "fee for service"
•Encourage "Consumer Reports"-type ratings of alternative insurance plans

It's actually very common for people who criticize to end up needing what they are critical of or to be what they are saying they are against. It is the universal law of balance or karma. There is a show I didn't watch when it was on and it is now canceled and I borrowed it on dvd from the library. It's so funny cause it shows the republican/ christians and their hypocritical ways.

It is GCB which stands for good christian bitchs. Watch it, if you want to laugh. . They have one couple who are hiding that the husband is really gay. It made me think of how many republican marriages are like this. Michelle Bachman & Marcus is not the only ones.

It is always interesting to watch as they point their finger at other they have 3 fingers pointing back to themselves. Speaking of finger or thumbs in this case. I think I think a stuck a nerve with a few people here.
