Families come in a variety of different types. Who cares how many legal parents a child has as long as they're all providing a healthy environment for him or her. With all the children with no one to care for them, I'm less worried about children with extra responsible parental figures.

I don't really care, as long as the child grows up protected and in a loving home. I'm way more worried about children with 0 parents than I am about a child with 3 parental figures.

If 3+ parents want to have a custody battle, that's what judges are for, and that's why they go to school for 8+ years. They should know how to settle it.

Back in the the days when traditional familes were extended families a kid had two parents But every adult in that home had a say in how that kid was being raised

My child has 6 set of parents. His biological/natural parents, his foster parents who raised him from birth, and us. We all love him and we all are deeply committed to helping him succeed. More parents is never a bad thing, as long as they are all willing to put the child's needs FIRST.

Funny this wasn't an issue even ten years ago....
