How much would my personal injury case be worth and should i consider mediating with them before...?

I live here in florida now but about 8 years ago while i was visiting in indiana i was on the back of a penske moving truck and my right index,middle, and ring finger were all barely hanging on so i got rushed to the hospital and everything they at first sewed all 3 of the fingers back on and i had a pin in my middle finger and once that was removed the doctor said that my right middle finger would have to be amputated i know this case is old but i am 17 ill be 18 next month and the statues of limitations dont start till i hit 18 any help would be great i have been told i have a malpractice case maybe or a personal injury

did you lose a major limb and eye leg ?you looking at a couple 100 grand otherwise you figure for every 1000 your hospital bill was your probly get it 2000 for every 1000 you hospital billings plus pain and suffering so if you did lose a major land for f*** something up major don't expect to get any big money I know I get big money and it I suffer everyday I spent it all in about 5 years I got it at 18

You need to speak to an attorney. You don't automatically get money, you need to prove negligence or malpractice and for that you need witnesses and documentation. Eight years later that might be hard to come by. Your parents should have sued on your behalf immediately after the accident. What were you doing in the back of a moving truck. Your injuries might have been your fault and you get nothing?

A big problem might be proving your amputation is a result of the accident instead of something you did after the accident. A lot could have happened in 8 years.

8 years is a long time to sue someone, Im assuming you are. You might not be able to sue them anymore because of circumstances changes, Different car, the guy moved out of state, He might deceased, Evidence from that time could be easily disputed as fabricated.
