How old do you have to be to be a witness for a personal injury claim?

You can be a witness at any age, but the testimony of a minor would be taken with a grain of salt.

There is no minimum age. The credibility of a minor relative of the person making the claim would be virtually nil.

There is no age. The judge will decide based on questioning if the person understands what's going on enough to testify.

There is no age limit for a witness provided that he/she can testify in good faith. Your lawyer will tell you if the witness is credible and can help you win the case.
