How to get back at self-righteous neighbours?

I am a quiet kind person, usually. But I have had enough and I want to legally get back at the neighbours. They have done some absolutly ridicious things and we have listened to their immature complaints for at least 7 years. We are moving so not worried about keeping the peace. The thing is they are very self rightous and think that the rest of our village does wrong but they are currently breaching a few laws that we could all complain about. One of them being they have relatives living on their land with no planning permission asked. Another is the fact that they have over 14 roosters kept in a pen together, at least twice they have fought and made little effort to seperate them. they crow constantly 14 of them. but we dont complain about those things. they also sell things outside their property so in summer we have people pulling in our drive way, but once again we dont complain.

So what have we done. Well once or twice a year we have birthday parties. the "party" they threatening to ring the police up for was at 8.00pm on a weekend and consisted of 4 people having a BBQ, one of them came around in their dressing gown complain that we were keeping them awake..wait for it...TALKING. this person lives illegally in a caravan on the other side of our fence. They then proceeded to walk up and down the solid wall(its 6foot high) shouting abuse. 4 adults. they have done this everytime we have a party, so twice a year. We invited them to the first ones but they never came lol.
There chickens have gotten into our garden on a number of occasions and they did nothing to keep them out even until when one of them tried making a joke out of their chickens getting out i said "YES i know" i once found their cockerel in our hedge shaking and covered in blood from fighting. they also put screens up so i could not 'spy' on them i presume, my spying was pulling our dog away from the hedge as he was barking at their cockerels fighting. i thought of ringing the RSPCA up but again when they made an effort to seperate some of them didnt want to cause trouble.
They have fires in their garden at illegal times and have outbuildings over 10feet high with no planning permission.

So tonight one of them chased my cat out of her garden(fair enough) but then proceeded to give me the evils and start mumbling about cat poo. (so her cockerels pooing, bleeding and keeping us up everyday of the year is okay?) when i tried retaliating she didnt give me eye contact and just walked off. I want controntation with them so they can see that also they do things wrong and are not perfect, nobody is. etc

SO what can I do to annoy them to get them to speak, or shall i just complain about the cockerels to the authorities and the caravan. They really dont know who they are messing with, i have broken somebodies jaw before im not proud of it but really do not get on the wrong side of me.

BBQ the chickens when they are in your yard.

When you sell the house you are now usually asked if you have had any problems with your neighbours. If there are written complaints then you don't disclose the buyer could sue you. So be careful. If you rent the house no problem. Of course there is nothing to stop you sending a written complaint to the council about trading from residential premises without consent and erecting buildings without consent and operating a caravan park etc etc.
You can also descent to their level and arrange visits about double glazing solar panels etc but I don't think that is really on. Stick to where you are right and they are wrong.

Your description is typical of the sad state of our country.
Over crowding and people living too close to one another.
It will only get worst in the coming years.
I am leaving this country shortly.

You seem a bit confused about what the main problem is. The way I see it, these neighbours are a pain but if you do anything official or illegal you are just asking for more aggravation. Remember if they have been the problem you are not going to be a bigger pain to them. Forget about getting revenge, just try to keep the problem to a minimum.
What's it worth to keep the peace so you can sell your house ? Ask the neighbours if they are willing to lend their roosters out and stop having sales until you sell your house. Consider what is a reasonable amount of money to pay them for this, and see if they agree, maybe if you offer a weekly payment they will see that it's worth it soon enough. Then put up a high fence so the caravan can not easily be seen from your house. You might want to say that if you can't sell your house you will start making complaints to the local council about the roosters, the caravan, and the abuse.
Only do this if you are willing to follow through and face the consequences, which might mean more abuse. I only suggest it as a possible means of getting the neighbour's cooperation. If you start getting into tit for tat behaviour then you are sinking to their level. Are there other neighbours affected like you ?
Because then if you can't sell your house, complaints made by a number of people about the same things are more likely to be heard than just one person.

I would crap in a jiffy bag, seal it up and post it to them.

I would also tell them you are moving and have paid someone to smash all their windows and set fire to the caravan.

I pity the people who end up in your house, your neighbours sound like they have delusions of grandeur.
