How to play off embarrassing text?

Basically me and a guy in one of my classes always used to text, flirt etc. We only had the physical hots for each other, nothing more (lust). Eventually we stopped talking, but I always see him staring at me and checking me out even when he is with his friends or talking to any of the teachers (so I assume he still thinks I am hot).

I only see him again on Monday (as thats when our last exam is together)- which is most likely the last time I will see him before school finishes.
So I thought, I dont want to waste an opportunity, I at least want to kiss this guy before its too late. So I assumed that he wouldn't object to it seeing as he appears to still be very attracted to me, so I texted him today and said 'Would you mind if I kissed you?'

This action has appeared to be completely embarrassing as its now been an hour past and I haven't received any response. I would really like to just phase out of the situation and pretend like it didn't happen on Monday- any hints or tips on how to play off the awkwardness when I see him?

If I was you, I'd just forget about it and see if he says anything to you. After all he could just be out of credit or shy as sounds like he likes you. But yeah just play it cool, let him do the chasing now you've shown your interest :)

You have some options here:

1 you could pretend like a friend stole your phone and started texting people (Mine do it a lot!)

2 you could act normal and not bring up kissing or texting.

3 if your very confident you could go for it and kiss him (maybe he'll like it)

There is no reason to be embaressed over a text. I am sure he didn't really think much of it he might've interpreted the text as being really cute :p
I thought it was cute personally, it shows that you are interested!

Send him another text. say "Or, I could just totally embarrass myself, that works too" or something like that. Just pretend its not a big deal....because in reality it isn't. Just don't let him think you weren't serious, that would be a problem.

Lol, that's a pretty awkward text message. It would take me awhile to find something to text back if I was him also. I'd say break the double text rule and send him another text message, and make it seem like a joke. My best advice for the future is that you should let things flow together, don't ask him if he'd kiss you, your suppose to find that out your self, in-person.

You could tell him you meant to send it to someone else and make him jealous, or you could just send another text saying you see him looking at you all the time so you figured you'd ask. That way you seem bold to him and guys like that. Or you could just walk up to him and give him a sexy-like kiss and then just walk away.

Psh! If he doesn't answer, blow him a kiss and say "SEE YA!" and skip off to the nearest exit. It would look like you changed your mind and you don't care. Where as if you just pretended it didn't happen, you'd look crazy. You're a GIRL. You can kiss whoever you want. It's not up to the guy;)

Pretend like it never happened!! Just play it off cause things are a big deal only if you make them out to be. When you see him try to act completely normal and try not to blush! If he brings it up just be nonchalant and if he asks just be like I was just curious and act like its just some random question. People only make things a big deal if you act like it is. I promise this whole I am not embarrassed act works amazingly! I use it all the time, people forget about things really quickly if it looks like you don't care. And hey maybe he will kiss you <3 just wait and see :) Hope I helped (:

just leave it if he reply sure its all good if he says wtf hoebag no way just say ahh u got that too sorry my friends was messin around with my phone don't reply to him until he texts you back tho. he might just be playing it cool giving it a few hours so it seems as if he was not a big deal. guys are odd and we do this all the time.
