How would I decide which law firm to pick in a class action case when more than 1 is involved?

I have never been involved in a class action, there seems to be more than 1 law firm involved for plaintiff. I am a bit confused about what would make either firm better than the other.

One law firm may be not be better than another, although one law firm may have won more class action cases than another and one may ask for a lesser percentage of the amount recovered than another were the judgment to be in favor of the plaintiffs in the class action. In some class action cases more than one law firm may also file a class action and in some cases a judge will lump all the law firms together when the case goes to trial so there doesn't have to be separate trials for each law firm on the same class action. Also, those affected by the class action may chose to not join in the class action and may secure their own attorney to file for damages for a particular plaintiff with the case being entirely separate from the class action and possibly secure a higher amount ot damage award for damages than were that particular plaintiff to have joined in the class action.

Not sure what you're asking here. It's the atty - NOT plaintiff client - who decides whether and how to run a particular file as a class action. Your mission as the client is to apprise atty fully of all facts/documents relevant to your claim. ... Or are you maybe wondering how to go about joining a class action as a co-plaintiff? If so, approach the firm that is listed first in the ad and ask for instructions on how to join the action. If you fit the requirements, more info will no doubt follow.

More than one? There are hundreds of law firms with experience in class action lawsuits. Thousands, perhaps.

The fact that you think you have a class action (or would want one) means almost nothing. Instead, you want a firm with experience in the subject matter AND representing groups of plaintiffs.

You should find out all you can about each one of them. Look them up online, ask other people, try to find out their track records, and see if there is a difference in the amount of money they get from settlements.
