I am 14. I am a hard worker. Would there be any places that would hire a 14 year old? I looked at the US Labor Laws this is what it said "While 16 is the minimum age for most nonfarm work, minors aged 14 and 15 may work outside of school hours in certain occupations under certain conditions. Minors may, at any age: deliver newspapers; perform in radio, television, movies, or theatrical productions; work for their parents in their solely owned nonfarm businesses (except in mining, manufacturing, or in any other occupation declared hazardous by the Secretary); or gather evergreens and make evergreen wreaths." http://www.dol.gov/compliance/guide/childlbr.htm

The mall, grocery stores, friends and neighbors, Let them know you're looking for work. How about tutoring other students. Check Craigs List. But don't go to a strangers home without having an adult check it out first. Good Luck.
