I had a dream being in the navy,what does it mean?

so i joined the navy and i saw a friend that is actually in the army.. thing is that in my dream i was in the water almost all the time. i had told my family i wanted to join the navy couple months ago, but my brother in law insisted not to. help?

I think this dream is telling you to go with the nazy and don't rule it out because life's too short.

I'm no expert, but I'll give it a shot: It probably means that this is something important to you, so it is in you subconscious, and you should CONSIDER enlisting. Do NOT take this as a sign and go enlist immediately, and make a rash decision you will regret in the long run.
