I'M STUCK IN A TOUGH SITUATION - WHAT SHOULD I DO????????????????????????????…

There's this guy I really like. I asked him to prom & he said he couldn't go b/c "it's complicated." I found out later he feels as the guy it is his responsibility to ask the girl, not the other way around. We were in 1 class together which was French. We worked on a group skit project together. We haven't tlked since. I told him on his blog anonymously that I had a dream about him. He wanted to know who I was & at first tried to figure out what class we were in together. I said I couldn't tell him & that it would be obvious. I wouldn't tell him the class & just told him we did a group project together in the class & that's all I was saying. He asked if that group project was a skit. I said how I wasn't saying anything more. He asked if it was a skit for French class. I said, "Idk, was it?" We kept going on & on & he was getting upset that I was dragging it out. I said how he could tell everyone. He said, "well u could tell me & i could not like u & nothing would change.... I'm not going to tell everyone if thats what ur worried about. Most people consider me trustworthy" I said, "well you've already made a guess & think u know who I am so why don't u just say if u like that person & then I'll say if I was in that class or not?" He said, "How about u tell me what class. That would help me narrow down my guesses."

I admitted French class & he said, "initials BL?" I said maybe. He said, "they are, otherwise u would have said no" I said, "maybe doesn't necessarily mean yes" He said, "It does in this case. Unless u want to tell me what ur initials are & prove me wrong I'm right." I said, "ok so even if u r right, does it matter?" He said, "seriously this is absurd" I said, "ok so what do u want me to do?" He said, "alright we're done w/ this" I panicked & said, "wow ok so now ur getting upset for no reason. fine yes I was in French, yes those are my initials, & yes we were in a group for the skit. there is that what u wanted?" He said, "yep. I acted upset so u would confirm it. apparently it worked lol. thanks" I said, "ok so u used me basically?" He said, "no that is not using someone. Using someone would be like pretending to like them to mess w/ someone else, or to get them to do ur homework or sumthing." I said, "woww so what do u want from me?" He said, "to know who u are, which I think i do so now we're done ok?"

In the time that I knew him, he seemed to be a really sweet guy. You can tell by his actions & how he answers other questions that he knows how to treat a girl. But he doesn't like me at all & apparantally is very freaked out by me. I panicked when I thought he was upset & admitted it but now I want to take it back. So I tried to make it look like a lie & said, "except that I lied...yeah haha sorry. I used all the details u gave me: French class, skit, those initials & put it all together. clever, huh? I feel sorry for the poor girl I probably just humiliated but anyway I will tell u that I only knew u from 1 class & it was AP Chem." He said, "oh really. There was this 1 girl in AP chem I liked for the entire yr but I'm pppppprrrrrreeeeeeeeetttttttttyyyyyyy sure ur not her haha. Also there are no group projects in AP chem what are u talking about?!" I said, "geesh call down. u look like ur yelling wow. well I was in AP Chem. Idk if I was the girl u liked or not & I don't mean literally a group project, it was like well u helped me on a concept I didn't understand if that makes sense" He said, "what was the concept...Oh the girl I liked definitely knew, we joked about it a lot haha" I said, "I don't remember, it was a while ago. so no I wasn't the girl u liked then haha. Also, although it was/is stupid & immature of me to drag this out, it's just as immature of u to be so rude about the whole situation. this is not the mark I knew at all" He said, "I just get the sense that ur toying w/ me, which is just childish. So here's what I'm thinking: u r the person I originally thought u were, I guessed correctly. You looked through here (or maybe u remember asking me) for my favorite class, which I said was AP Chem, then u tried to pass the whole thing off as just messing w/ me to preserve ur secret identity status or whatever. This is what I will assume until u can somehow prove to me u were in the class." I said, "that's not true but u can think that if u want...how can I prove to u I was in the class?" He said, "what % of our total grade was homework. easy question"

He's super smart so I need to be really convincing. I asked sumone who had taken the class b4 this question SUBTLY, acting as if I was planning on taking the

I would just tell this guy the honest truth. It will make you vulnerable but it will make him understand. We're all human, so it's understandable that you would want to cover up who you are.

either that or try not to talk to him on this blog anymore. Earn his respect by first person communication.

if he still doesn't show anymore interest, there are many more fish in the sea
