I need a lawyer for medical malpractice!!?

Postby tupac » Tue Jul 10, 2012 2:46 am

I'm 17 -Since I was 3 months pregnant I had cramping and spotting and I asked my doctor several times about it and she just said it was normal but its actually the first sign that the placenta is tearing. At 5 months on June 14th 2012 at 2am I had cramping really bad and it got worse and worse, at about 7am my water broke so we rushed to the doctors office which opens at 8 and we got there and had to wait for the people to get there and when they did I had to pee so I went into the bathroom there and filled the toilet with blood and they said to go to the emergency room but they wouldnt even let us in the door but we finally found a door that was open and my doctor was no where to be found and I was dripping blood everywhere and this lady tells me I have to sit down and fill out paperwork while I'm bleeding all over the chair, then someone else comes up and says they need a urine specimen when I have no urine just blood. So I filled one up with blood and they just threw it in the trash and gave me another cup and said we need urine but I just filled it with blood again then this lady had me put on a gown and they got me to lay on the bed and as soon as I did my doctor came in and the baby was coming out already so it came and she just lets the baby lay there not sucking out its mouth or anything she finally cut the cord and they took the baby away and wrapped it in a towel not even a blanket and let him lay there , they came back to me and told me he didnt make it..we were all devistated. The next day my doctor comes in the room and tells us the baby lived for an hour and a half on its own and they told us after I had him that he died. The first time I got to hold my baby was in the funeral home. This doctor, Dr. Shannon Case needs to lose her license for letting my baby die and I'm not the only one shes done this to.

call some lawyers in your area
expect to pay a lot for a lawyer, if you can find one that will take your case

If you need a lawyer then open a phonebook and look up medical malpractice lawyers in your area. Or run a google search.

But there is nothing in this story that suggests any type of malpractice occurred. The sad simple truth is that sometimes pregnancies don't work out. Miscarriages happen. Just because your baby did not survive does not mean that your doctor did anything wrong. Based on the info you have given, you do not have a successful case for malpractice.
