I really like the Penrose triangle. Can I use it for my clothing line logo?

I have had my clothing line and am about to go serious. I want to trademark it. Even though nobody uses the logo and my name yet, would it be a problem? Like even though Oscar Reutersvärd and not me designed it? Thanks! Looking forward to some answers.
