I've smoked marijuana for medical reasons. How can I pass a pre-employment drug test* (urine) for thc?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to pass a pre-employment drug (urine) test for thc.

Having said that, before anyone "judges" me or sends me answers that are negative* (or unhelpful), please know this--I already have two college degrees, and I'm not a drug addict.

I had smoked marijuana in the past (many years ago) to aleviate my migraine headaches. It was the only thing that has ever REALLY helped with my headaches. I had been diagnosed with migraines as child, and I've seen numerous neurologists in my life.

While I was working, I stopped smoking marijuana because I had health insurance, and could afford Imitex shots for my headaches. These shots lessened the severity of my headaches, but didn't stop them from occuring. I just learned to deal. Imitex was the only legal way to help with the pain.

I was laid off of work several months ago due to the economy. Unfortunately, my migraines returned with a vengeance. About six weeks ago, I decided I was going back to college* (to get my Master's degree), and I began smoking weed again to help with my migraines. I was just trying to get some relief from the pain.

Prior to that, I had not smoked in a several years.

Imitex shots ARE VERY EXPENSIVE EVEN WITH GOOD HEALTH INSURANCE. After I became unemployed, I could no longer afford my health insurance, much less the Imitex shots.

Just so you know, I have tried every available migraine medication on the market (both preventative as well as acute), and have taken part in three separate drug trials for migraine headaches. None of them helped much. Imitex was the only legal option that offered any kind of pain relief.

I have smoked 3-4 times a week for about 6 weeks. I smoked 3-4 hits each time. I have not smoked in a little over a week.

I just recieved a great job offer* (I had not been looking for a job, since I thought I was going back to school), I and accepted the job. My industry requires drug testing* (which is why I hadn't smoked for years before I decided to go back to school).

I haven't smoked in ten days, and I won't be tested until I start the job (another week to two weeks from now), and I'm trying to figure out how to make sure I don't fail my test.

I am a female that is 5'8" and approximately 220 lbs.

A friend of mine is a nurse, and she says that most pre-employment drug tests test urine for detox drinks now (and seven other types of ways to "cheat" aka pass when you should fail a urine test).

I would like any REAL advice on if I will fail this drug test (I took a drugstore test, and it showed a very light "negative" line), and any advice on how ensure I will pass this test.

Also, if anyone has chronic migraine headaches, feel free to give any advice on how to lessen the severity of them. As I've said, I've tried almost everything, but I'm just trying to get through the pain until I can get health insurance again.

If you've got two weeks or even one, you still have some time to clean your system. Drink a lot of water and juice, excercise, and test yourself again when it gets closer to the test. The day before, drink a lot of fluids & take B12 so that the urine is yellow. It shouldn't look funny if you are on this regimen for days, and if it's not completely out of your system, it should be diluted enough to pass.
