If someone registered the trademark "2000 calorie diet" on the supplemental registry....?

Hi there, if a common phrase like "2000 calorie diet" or "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" gets registered on the supplemental registry, how narrow is it's scope of protection? Is it limited to the precise goods registered or is it broader?

Needs to be precise wording. Like " 5 day abs".
