Iko Shingles Blowing Off

Dealing with a class action? Discuss it here

Iko Shingles Blowing Off

Postby Broin » Mon Jun 30, 2014 10:09 am

I have a 8 year old home and have had shingles blowing off anytime the wind seems to get above 40 mph. We have repaired many shingles at our expense. We were at a party and talked to a couple that have had the same thing happen. We are aware of a class action lawsuit against the company. When I do a search on google I really don't find anything on this. Any suggestions around pursuing this? We would appreciate your advise.

Thanks Dave Grant

Iko Shingles Blowing Off

Hi David. I have to admit that I am not familiar with IKO shingles. If you could give me a bit more info, i.e. The manufacturer and the company who installed them I may be able to help.

1/2 hour later.......O.K. I have done a little research and found this PDF from IKO.http://www.iko.com/misc/LitPdf/IKOGuidetoAspShin-EN.pdf

If you have not seen it, you can copy and paste to your browser line and take a look. Is the law suit against the manufacturer or the contractor?

15 mins later. I did find this also.http://dockets.justia.com/docket/court-ilndce/case_no-1:2007cv04536/case_id-2118...
