Immigration problem regarding my name on my foreign passport and green card?

I will be going to Hong Kong in August. I'm a green card holder and a Hong Kong citizen. Bought a round-trip ticket that's got Japan as a transfer point. Since my name on the green card and passport are different because I changed my legal name in the U.S., would it cause a problem?

Hong Kong Passport: Jennifer Chan
Hong Kong Id: Jennifer Chan
Green Card: Mary Chan
U.S. Id: Mary Chan
Plane Ticket: Jennifer Chan (required by law to use name on passport)

*Especially when I'm transferring in Japan, will they have a problem since my name appears differently?

you may well have a problem ..when changing name ..you have to change it on everything

You should not have made any travel arrangements nor paid for expensive tickets unless all the paperwork is in order. Especially this glaring discrepancy of names. Jennifer is in no way similar to Mary, so better rebook your flight and start the Green Card Name Change Application Process.
