In a class action law suit, what would be better arbitration or court?

I work for a company that was denying its workers to accept tips. The company is being sued by an employee because denying its employees tips is against the law. I have a choice to choose arbitration or not. I'm just not sure on which one to use.

It's either a matter for a class action lawsuit or a matter for arbitration. You're confused. About quite a few things, I think, including this mythical law that employees are automatically entitled to 'tips.' More info required.
