Emily Byrd Starr, from the LM Montgomery "Emily of New Moon" books. and I'd ask her   "The book that Dean Priest told you was inadequate--what was it about? Will you tell me about it?"   That's today, anyway. Tomorrow it could easily be a question for someone else...

Merlin the Wizard, he was a master of everything and my favorite magical skill was the ability to change shapes.  And as a shape shifter, what's it like being able change into anything?  And, if you could change permanently into ONE thing, what would it be?   Okay, I know I asked 2 questions, but in my storybook village, I'm allowed 2!!  LOL

I've read every one of the Dirk Pitt books(19 so far) by Clive Cussler and he is my favorite character.  If you've never read any of them, he's kind of like James Bond but I think he's a lot better, although I've never read a James Bond book, only saw the movies.   For a very nice review of who Dirk Pitt is, see the link to Wikipedia.   If you do want to start reading the books, I would recommend starting with the first one.  These books do follow his life so if you pick up in the middle, you won't understand some of the things that are mentioned that happened in previous books.  Cussler does a pretty good job of trying to explain some of them but you really need to read them all from the beginning.

In A Dream, You Have Been Transported To Storybook Village. Which Fictional Character Would You Like To Meet? What

I feel like I should say I want to meet some important literary character so that I could ask some huge question about motivation that people have been debating for the ages, but honestly I'd want to meet Sunshine from Sunshine by Robin McKinley.  I want to ask her for her recipes.  If I was limited to one questions(and "may I have a copy of all your recipes?" was out) I would have to decide on a favorite dessert mentioned and ask for that recipe.  In the end, I have a good cinnamon bun recipe, but hers sounds really amazing, so I'd probably ask for that.
