Inguinal Hernia Mesh And Plug Repair

I had an inguinal hernia repair in june of this year.  I had given myself a bsports type hernia injury while lifting a very heavy backpack. Went to the oakland kaiser er later tjhat eve as the pain was prggressively gettijg worse misdiagnosed with a uti.  Next dapy a doc diagnosed errouneously with prostititus , and another doc incorrect diagnosed epidytimitus/orchitus.... afte two weeks and no.response to anti-biotics was giben ct scan and a hernia found. became homeless during this time and held on a 5160 for two weeks.  Put on.CASDI, ehich kaiser refused to extend for an infuriating reason)

The long a nd ehort is finally given the surgical repair and ever since the third day of recovery I've been miserable.  MD and bsurgeon continually passed me to psychiatry who would then pass me nack to MD bith gervently asserting that my was caused by the others speciality.  I was a ping pong ball oger the curse of 40 or more visits, countless emails andbappeals for the kaiser org to intervene on my behalf. the issue was taken to local and regoinal, review, interestingoy enough my psychiatrist serves on both review committess

my kaiser coverage expired 10/1, and now despite my efforts at being proactive, I am facing eviction, with an unduagnosed painfully debilating issue that I'm having a VERY difficult time getting help for.  No attorneys ill bhelp unless there is loss of life or limb.... is this really happenimg? Is kaiiser allowed to act with independant impunity in ca?  What are my options. With all the lawsuits and fda preemptive investigation into mesh and plug repair, didn't the doctor AND kaiser have an ethical duty to inform me?

Apparently you do have access to a computer. Go to Google and then in the browser type 'mesh class action lawsuits'. Thiz should bring up a bunch of lawyers and you can pick out some who work in California. Go to them with your story.

The problem that may arise is that inguinal hernias often do NOT hurt. So, maybe you had another problem. However, what that problem is doesn't matter. That fact is Kasier did not make a good diagnosis. So, what you will probably sue for is a missed diagnosis, not a misdiagnosis. But whatever a lawyer decides to do, if you did have mesh installed and if the mesh is now causing trouble. you are entitled to compensation. Your lawyer will have to prove that. He will start out by sending you to his experts and maybe they will diagnose your real problem. So, Google for a mesh lawyer and try to get something done.

Your psychiatric troubles should not interfere with your right to sue.
