I was wondering if any aspect of being an online dominatrix(you never meet clients as the usual domme would) is illegal? If people participate themselves in behaviour that you ask them to do but you are not with them physically or taking part physically. What about financial domination? The client will ask for you to blackmail him/her or humiliate her financially, she/he will send you money or gifts through blackmail he himself has asked for. He/she has a safeword etc so if at any time she is uncomfortable she can back out. What about a contract etc etc . are there any laws on this? I know many dommes have been arrested but the only ones i read of are extreme or were working in dungeons that had been on suspicion of participating in illegal activity.

So long as you declare your income & pay your taxes, it's all legal.

It's not the act itself that is illegal it's the financial aspect that is. That is why cops get hookers to state the fee then get them for solicitation. As long as there is no fee discussed it is probably not illegal.
