Is drug prohibition a solution or cause of problems, if the war on drugs (prohibition, forbid) has failed?

Example: this short video about the topic
http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/9803.html

Many countries are decriminalizing drug use, and
moving it under their health care umbrella, which
then says we won't imprison you, but help you, if
you have a drug problem

Bible seems to agree, since
prohibition (law, forbid) causes evil concupiscence,
an overwhelming desire for whatever is forbidden;
Another good reason to flush the law as if dung.

All drugs should be legalized and quality controlled.
The bible is only good for rolling joints.

By your logic, child-abuse, robbery, murder, embezzlement, drunk-driving and rape ALL occur daily - so we COULD say that "we have lost the war on these crimes, we should de-criminalise them all".

So, when the company you work for has been bankrupted, a drunk-driver has smashed into your car as you drive home, the first person to come to your aid beats you and takes your wallet, you stagger home to find your wife sobbing because your home has been burgled and she was raped, and your child abused, you can THEN take the time to consider if the LAW really is "dung" to be flushed.

If you want to live in an utter anarchy, get yourself to Mogadishu or Somalia.

Did alcohol prohibition in the USA solve any problems or did it create more?
