Is it illegal for a doctor to treat illegal immigrants, prescribe meds, take cash, and not report anything?

I know a doctor personally who owns a private clinic in an area with a lot of Mexican immigration. I know for a fact that they do this. There was something that was said in a private conversation. I don't feel comfortable saying online but I am not wrongly accusing the person. I feel like they are taking advantage of American tax payers AND the hispanic race! I want to take action. Do I contact immigration or?

So let me see here.....Now who is it that you want to get into trouble is it the Dr or the illegal.My guess is that you feel so sorry for the illegals that you want to turn in this Dr for practicing medicine.No where does it say that a Dr cant be payed cash for his services.And unless you have seen his tax returns you don't know anything.But I guess this isn't the answer you wanted as you would love to get this Dr in trouble all the while KNOWING that the people he takes care of are illegal.Boy we have some mess up Americans here.

If the person is paying cash and not using medicaid/medicare then no.. Unless they don't report narcotic prescriptions. Doctors can treat illegal immigrants if they want to, they need medical care too.

-EDIT- YES they keep charts. If they are not keeping charts they are breaking the law. But these people would just report their residency as "vagrant" or "homeless" and there's not much the clinic can do. They can't turn away a patient who needs care and is paying for it.
