very unlikely that will happen. do the crime, do the time. if you had several thousand dollars to throw away, you might bring up new evidence, but this is a petty offense. just keep your nose clean.I was given 24 months of "Unsupervised" probation on February 4th of this year for giving false information to police. A class C misdemeanor here in oregon. While I am obeying all the laws and will continue to do so, It would be nice to get this dark cloud off my head. Im 24 years old and this is my first ((And last!)) time being in trouble with the law so im not sure how it all works. Ive never even had one traffic violation or citation. I also had to pay $674 to the court and do 48 hours of community service. Could I do more community service or pay off the probation somehow if that even makes sense? Thanks!
