Will having a husband thats been on probation effect me becoming a probation officer?

Ok so I'm in school to become a probation officer also I'm about to take my exam for the department of corrections to work in the prison... I personally have a clean record I don't even have a speeding ticket.. but my current fiance is on probation I'm a lil scared to tie the knot and get married bec I fear that us being married will prevent me from being hired by the state as a probation officer.... he is on lev 3 for one year... by the time I'm done school I'm sure he won't be on probation anymore but will his past effect me? Even tho I havnt done anything wrong iv gotten mixed answers to this question I jus wanna kno if I sld jus wait to married till after I get hired... (his chargers are not drug related or violent its just 3rd dagree eludement)

I doubt they can incriminate you for your husband's past

With the economy it is tough to get a job. It might negatively affect you, the best thing to do is ask your professor and if he doesn't have an answer then you need to ask him where you need to go. There are many applicants so they can pick the cream of the crop, that's why it might hurt you.
