Guess what, the Government does not own these home, therefore will not be getting rental income from the properties.. It is the banks that own the foreclosed mortgages that will be renting the foreclosed homes.

It would certainly be more advantageous to the neighbors to these foreclosed home to allow them to sit empty so they can be vandalized, broken into by unsavory people to squat in or just be allowed to dilapidate. Think about your own property value should that happen to the house next door to yours.

Which Administration drove the prices of a home so high that most could not afford them? Which Administration, through deregulation, allowed the banks to offer mortgages that they knew most of the takers could not afford? Which Administration was in office when the Mortgage crisis occurred and the economy went into free fall?
