Need to know if there is any laws esp Health & Safety regarding the use of old appliances in rental properties. Is it a fire hazard?

No such law. IF the landlord elects to supply appliances, they only need be in proper working condition. If a range is sixty years old and still works well, the landlord can continue to use same.

i sincerely doubt it; for any state. IF it is shown that the old Appliance[s] is/are a hazard in any
way, the LL will be obligated to replace them.

no such law
unless its in the rental agreement? supplying appliances dont even have to be part of the rental agreement
