Isn't getting advice from Republicans and conservatives on how to fix the economy....?

Postby macquaid35 » Thu Dec 01, 2011 1:15 am

... like getting legal advice from someone who hasn't even passed the bar? Or a lawyer who has several malpractice suits against him/her?

After screwing up the economy and almost causing the total collapse of the auto industry, banking industry, Wall Street and the mortgage industry, where do Republicans and conservatives get the friggin audacity to criticize those that are trying to fix their mess.

It's funny that people blame the Democrats for everything. The party of personal responsibility think that in 2006 when the Democrats took control that everything fell apart. As if, the day they got elected, things fell apart and it was all because of them.

The Democrats only had a majority of one in the Senate and not even close to a fillibuster in the House.

The truth is that everybody is to blame. The Republicans and Democrats alike. It's easy to sit there and criticize the President, but people don't have the facts.

There will never be a President that makes 100% of the people happy. But perhaps if people would stop criticizing and instead came up with solutions (and that includes both Republicans and Democrats) we would all be better off.

Simple - the dems were in control of congress - libs like to conveniently forget that fact. Just keep listening to your msnbc cronies, though, cause I really don't think you can handle the truth.

Republicans didn't create the mess. The mess was created by Liberals like Barney Frank, Obama, Chris Dodd etc... Forcing banks to make loans to people, in the name of Affordable Housing, that couldn't pay them back. Bush and Republicans warned us what was goign to happen. Look for the truth and you'll find it.

Bush was a progressive liberal hiding under the guise of a "compassionate conservative." Ha! Did you notice how the economic woes didn't start until about 2006...the same time that Democrats started coming into power. Coincidence? I think not.

You apparently don't know who's been in control since 2006. Fail.
