JWs: What is so special about the FDS if it is not inspired by Holy Spirit?

The "Faithful and Discreet Slave" class are those who have been anointed and will be going to Heaven. Nevertheless, they are imperfect and should not (according to JW doctrine) be infallible. If they are not directed by Holy Spirit, then what special powers do they possess that qualify them as superior interpreters of the Bible and its applications to modern-day life?

My understanding of "anointed" means that God's "active force" is acting upon you. If it is acting upon you, that means it is INFLUENCING you in some way.

Inspiration:
a: a divine influence or action on a person believed to qualify him or her to receive and communicate sacred revelation
b: the action or power of moving the intellect or emotions
c: the act of influencing or suggesting opinions

Does the Little Flock have an advantage (with respect to Bible interpretation and creation of policies) over the Other Sheep due to the fact that it is acted upon (and therefore influenced) by Holy Spirit?
