Knife laws regardin fixed blades?

I've been going over knife laws in general and i cant find alot of information regarding fixed blades single or double edged.
Handgun laws I'm familiar with you must "be endagered of your life or family's" or have a gun pointed at you and have a chl, then you can defend yourself if need be.
Knifes I'm clueless.
I keep finding a pdf file about carry laws and other weapons I know its inaccurate because you don't have to carry a pistol in your trunk anymore.
