Labour Law for serving in notice Period?

Postby christos » Mon Jul 02, 2012 4:46 pm

I am Vikas.
My wife is working in a pvt company.
The concerned authorities have put her in second shift. For the past one year she is working in 1st shift.
As she cannot come in second shift she has put down the papers, for notice period of one month.
But her Reporting boss is forcing her to come in 2nd shift for 1 month notice period.
She has put down the papers only for the reason that she cannot come in 2nd shift.

My question is that, where there are any laws regarding that the shift is not changed.

Is the law in favour of employee or employer??

please help

She would have to have a contract stating she only works days. No laws cover how an employer assigns workers to whatever shift they want. She works the shift he wants her to or he can fire her.
