Plain and simple, exactly what everyone else says. You need an attorney, and if all goes through and you can provide proof of your allegations and what happened along with medical bills and such then nine times out of ten it will go smoothly on your end and then your landlord will possibly required to cover court costs and insurance information. Now depending on her insurance agency, she will probably end up having to pay out of pocket with that due to the fact that it is after their 90 window where you have to report it to finish it. So she will have to pay those two things, and since she is providing bad landlord service by doing this, she will more than likely lose her license to be a landlord and will be fined for that along with the faulty wood work and lack of repairs so on and so forth. Like everyone and I said, go get an attorney most will give you a free consultation, and then let it go from there. They will be more likely to know what you can and should do.
