When I boot up my MSI I get only the MSI logo for about a minute then it goes to a screen that talks about the copyright and patents then says
"PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

PXE-M0F: Existing PXE ROM.

Reboot and Select proper Boot device
Or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key"

Hi,

It seems the boot device in the BIOS setting has been set to the NETWORK or LAN as the first boot device option;
Also it could be that your laptop has failed to recognise the HDD (Hard Disk) hence the prompt to "Reboot and Select proper Boot device
Or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key".

Try changing the first boot device in BIOS to the HDD.

You can access the BIOS menu by pressing the DEL or F2 immediately you have the MSI logo/splash screen.

Best of luck.
