When I boot up my MSI I get only the MSI logo for about a minute then it goes to a screen that talks about the copyright and patents then says
"PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

PXE-M0F: Existing PXE ROM.

Reboot and Select proper Boot device
Or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key"

It may mean your hard drive has stopped working because it is not being detected properly. This also can happen if the incorrect boot device is set to boot 1st. The PXE error is displayed because it is looking to boot from a Ethernet connection.

Something else to try is reset your bios settings to defaults, should be Delete to access bios then select the correct F# i.e F7 key and save. Check to make sure your hard drive is the first to boot.

If none of this helps you may need to purchase a replacement hard drive and start over.
