This happened to me this morning and legally I wasn't sure if I could do anything.
Setup. I parked on a public street and can to park anywhere as long as I don't block a driveway or where there is a town permit sign saying no parking. The place I park in is the space before of these sign where only a resident of that property can park.
The issue. When I came outside to my spot, a car pulled up to my bumper facing the same direction as me and the other guy facing the other direction pulled up to front bumper. Now after bumping them few times, I was able to get out with no damage to any cars but legally if I did do damage I'm sure I would of been at fault (correct me if I'm wrong). I am not sure if there any legal ways I could of got the car moved if this happens again. Also, I once heard parking facing the opposite way of how the traffic moves on that side of the road is against the law but I can not find any facts about that, someone know where this is stated or how to locate if this is true?
