I did not remain up, I just kept dozing and now I am glad lead to I can be the question of 2009!What are your 1st words for 2009!

Well there you have it folks the first words of one that has pets on Jan. 1st 2009...:@) My boy somtimes accompanied by the girl will sit on the bed quietly waiting till I stir then it starts, I hear the yawn and open my eyes there they sit patiently waiting for their breakfast..:@) My boys timing is off since I'm on vacation and not getting up at my normal hour of 3am or he would be making noise. He's a perfect alarm clock..:@)

I didn't stay up either, but the fireworks made the cat rush off the bed and then my daughter rang at midnight and we chatted. She'd made dinner for a friend, so was still up.
