Medical malpractice lawsuit? ?

Postby jerard » Mon Dec 19, 2011 9:09 am

Hi my name is Millie, I am seeking help from people. On October 27th 2011 I happen to cut my knuckle really deep. Well I wait 5 long hours in the waiting room then finally I get back. Well they cleaned it and stitched it up. He said your free to go. Well he failed to take an x ray to see if anything was still in there. Well tonight December 16th I had to go back because it was still red, swollen and very painful. So he took an x ray and said he was very concerned why my hand still looks this way and he thinks I cut a nerve and he referred me to a orthopedic. So do u think I have a lawsuit.

Medical malpractice lawsuit? ?

You need to prove your financial losses. What are they?

To sue you will need to hire a medical expert, about $35,000. Then there are court costs and attorney fees. Do your specific financial losses exceed this?

based on what you said here, no.

Why did you wait the entire time from Oct 27th to Dec 16 (7 weeks) to seek further medical attention?

Why did the first doc need to take an xray? Obviously there wasn't anything spectacular, so what was the first doctor going to see? Nothing, same as the second one.

You have no suit, you have no grounds.
