Military Campaign Against Drug Trade?

Postby fychan97 » Wed Dec 14, 2011 6:09 am

I'm testing out some unconventional ideas to fight to drug trade in the United States. Here's my first: a sustained, long-term military campaign against drug cartels, producers, traffickers, dealers, etc.

First, Congress would have to authorize force against the drug trade, so the military can be used instead of law enforcement.

Perhaps some Special Forces and air strikes could be used in Mexico (with that nation's permission of course) to eradicate drug production facilities (cocaine factories, marijuana farms, etc). In the United States, unmanned drones could be used to locate marijuana farms and other drug production facilities. Instead of getting warrants, raiding these places and putting police officers or federal agents in harm's way, we could just fire a Tomahawk missile at them.

Feedback, comments, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, etc?

U.S. Constitutional Militia's have been patrolling along the Arizona border. If your interested you can join up with them if you live near the border. They have to be effective considering the drug cartels have put a 15,000 dollar bounty on each of there heads.
