Maybe I can help, I work in litigation field in Florida and this is how it usually goes, you file a report and then they question your daughter and after that they have to do a physical in order to make sure there isn't any penetration. They are not going to take your daughter away because if she tell the truth he will be arrested and you have the right to not let him back into your house ever again. The law considers him an adult at 17. You can also get a restraining order and no contact order. If I were you I would hurry up and get to the police department and get everything taken care of you don't want to wait too long. I am sorry to hear of this. Unfortunately, it probably wasn't the first time that he tried this stuff. Please file your report as soon as possible. Hopefully, your wife is in agreement to all of this because you are going to need a united front. Good luck.
