Texas now doesn't require front license plates?

Postby boynton35 » Sat Dec 24, 2011 4:36 pm

I heard on the news and online that they somehow got rid of the law that requires to have a front license plate by accident. Is this true? If so I'm going outside to remove my front plate from my Mustang!

As of today the Texas Department of Public Safety states:

State law requires that you display two (2) license plates, one to the front and one to the rear. Placement or mounting of license plates is not defined.
