The 361 patent describes engineering that allows an internet search engine(like Bing or Google) to cost marketers based on the usefulness of the advertisement placement.  It Is A substantial enabler for your searchengines, and Aol bought the patent for 1.63 million dollars.  It's an issue of legitimate challenge since Google has utilized the engineering without license.

I have an idea to change a popular existing digital product to alter a feature on it to offer another option to make it more versatile to a bigger population & use.

My question:  Can I expand on the already existing patent of the product to add this new change?  Who would I contact to intiate this prodjet?  How do I begin?

Hello, I have an Alvin Patent Silverware set and I do not know the name or quality.  Some of the spoons have a small square sticker still stuck on the back, but they are unreadable.  The pattern is very art deco in nature.

I have invented a card game which includes only the invented cards and the rules. To protect the card game, that is, the cards themselves, and the rules, do I need to patent the game or would registering a copyright and trademark suffice? Thanks.

My wife created a few design patents while working for a company. She has since been laid off. Now the company keeps contacting her requesting her to review the design and sign a document that says she would sell, assign and transfer for the sum of one dollar the full and exclusive right of the invention to the company.  

Is it reasonable for my wife to ask for some compensation ...
