Oops. ANY time a politician offers a thing, assume he'll be the opposite of that thing. Bush purported to be another Clinton and was the opposite(responding the terrorists instead of dialoguing with them, and unbalancing the budget Clinton had balanced.) Obama purported to be different so we should expect him to be same. Politics is all a shell game, anyway. These guys know that once they're in, getting them out is next to impossible(two failed attempts so far!) He has his perpetual retirement set, so what else does he have to do? Shoot, he doesn't even have to write his own speeches.
