Our Partner Is Just A Smoker

Postby Leathan » Fri Jun 06, 2014 5:32 am

Our issue entails a partner within the State-Of: Ky<br />
my partner started smoking quite seriously. All of the furnature within the condo is mine and he or she is sensing it-up ostensibly (and of course me needing to breathe the 2nd hand) she will not get outside. i permitted her to maneuver in in february (have now been residing there alone for 2+ decades) how do I get her out? I can not stand it!!

You don't mention if you had her sign a lease and for how long the rental agreement was for.

If she is a month to month tenant, give her thiry days written notice.
If the furniture is damaged from the smoke, take it out of her security deposit.

One, have you talked to her about it?

Two, what does your written agreement between the two of you say? If you don't have a written agreement between you, what does your joint lease say?
