Paulist Christians: Why do you believe Paul's doctrine?

Postby newyddilyn60 » Sat Apr 14, 2012 6:46 pm

Christ gave many warnings about someone coming after him who would lead his Church astray and about the people in the future following a broad path to the Kingdom that will be false.

Paul did not replace Judas and he was a self-proclaimed apostle that all the Christ churches of his day rejected. He was a Roman citizen who pleaded to Cesar for his life and he was not a martyr. He preached against what Christ had taught and he told the gentiles they did not have to follow God's laws. He never knew Jesus, never met him, never saw/heard him; he simply claimed to have had a vision and was converted. Everything he did and said was not as Christ had taught; especially as Jesus respected all women as his Sisters and Mother and always had women with him and at every occasion when men were not present (even his resurrection) yet Paul said many things against women that are nothing like the way Christ regarded them. All in all there is so much to support that Paul was false and the original corrupter of the true Christian faith that Rome adopted as the State religion. You'll find tons of supporting evidence with Bible quotations online if you search for Paul being the false apostle.

So why do you support and believe Paulist Christianity, which was never endorsed by Christ in prophesy? I'd really like you to search your mind and heart and think why it is - could it simply be that it's because your church tells you to do so? Perhaps it is wrong to do so. Perhaps Paul was false and corrupted the faith? For your soul's sake please think about that - because there is nothing in the entire Bible to foretell his coming to lead the religion, or to change it in a good way; there is only prophesy that the original Christ faith would be led astray along with the majority of its followers. Please read your Bibles and you will see the truth.

Now please tell me why you follow the Paulist version of Christianity? Thank you.

Paulist Christians: Why do you believe Paul's doctrine?

Postby barnett » Sat Apr 14, 2012 6:48 pm

Peter said of Paul "There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."

The problem with much of Christianity is looks to Paul's writings as the basis for its faith WITHOUT understanding the BASICS of what YHWH wants from us! Yahushua, who many falsely call "Jesus," said "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to correctly do them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-20"

He also said "Mathew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, 'Master, Master,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [n]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’

Those are the BASICS. A new believer should be spending their time learning the TORAH of YHWH, and hold to the testimony of Yahushua. Instead, "Christianity" spends the bulk of its time explaining those "difficult" passages of Sha'ul (Paul's REAL name) and get mixed up to it OWN destruction!

Repent! Turn to the Messiah Yahushua, let his teaching be the basis for your action and beliefs as he points you to his father, YaHuWaH! Don't be one he turns away as a worker of LAWLESSNESS!!

Paulist Christians: Why do you believe Paul's doctrine?

Postby lalla3 » Sat Apr 14, 2012 6:50 pm

Then why did the other apostles accept him and his teaching.
Why do you destroy the Deity of Christ when you figure that Christs blood on the cross was not sufficient enough for our sins ?
No man is capable of keeping the law. Heaven would be a lonely place if the only way was by works. But since Christ alone is the only way we all have hope

Paul was approved by the other apostles, including St Peter, whom Jesus had given authority to lead the church upon earth [Matt 16:17-19]. I think that counts as a fairly good reason to accept Paul as a valid apostle.

See Galatians chapter 2.

Well, the other apostles vouched for him, for one. He was not a self-proclaimed apostle.

Furthermore, he didn't preach against what Christ taught. You're telling a fib.

Paulist Christians: Why do you believe Paul's doctrine?

One of the writers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was Luke who also knew Mary the mother of Jesus. Luke found Christ through Paul and also wrote Acts the story of where Paul came from. Paul is not false but an Apostle of Jesus Christ. You talk bad of Paul then you talk bad of Jesus Christ. Peter spoke of Paul in his writings and acknowledged him as a brother in Christ. Stop you lies.

Paul was an apostle of Jesus personally called by the Lord. I see nothing that would indicate anything he wrote in any way contradicts anything else in the new testament.

I would like to say that it is satan who desires to discredit the writings of Paul. Why? He gave us much of the new testament. If I were you, I'd be very careful whose side I'm taking on this issue.
